Emerald Psychiatry is quickly expanding and we are hiring for full-time providers to support our patients needs.

We provide a variety of psychiatric and mental health care to patients. We specialize in treating Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, ADD, ADHD, OCD and Substance Abuse by way of Telepsychiatry, Psychiatric Medication Management, TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), Substance Abuse Medication Assisted Treatment, Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program, and Counseling. Psychiatrist: 

As a psychiatrist here, your entire focus will be on patient care. We have a whole team of office staff who provide support in other areas such as HR, billing, marketing, insurance claims and systems.

Job Description:

  • Partner with Medical Director on innovative TMS Therapy for depression
  • Collaborate with Psychiatric PAs and CNPs on best practices for patient care
  • Conduct patient appointments both virtually and in person
  • Work with a Clinical Director overseeing our addiction recovery center

This position can be fully remote and there is no requirement to live in the Columbus area

We are hiring for full time hours.

Pay is flexible and customized to your needs, based on services provided.

License:

  • Psychiatrist
  • Ohio Medical License MD or DO
  • Graduate of an accredited University or College

Certified Nurse Practitioner:

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with the Medical Director on best practices for patient care
  • Conduct patient appointments virtually
  • Work with patients who participate in innovative TMS Therapy for depression
  • Treat patients with a wide range of mental health issues and recommend the best personalized treatment plan for them through our wide range of programs
  • See patients at our addiction recovery center who are struggling with substance abuse

This position can be fully remote and there is no requirement to live in the Columbus area

Qualified Candidates:

  • CNP with full active license to practice in the State of Ohio
  • Graduate of an accredited University or College

Outpatient Therapist:

As an independently licensed therapist (LISW or LPCC) here you will help support our programmatic growth, providing assessments, safety planning, treatment/discharge planning, individual and group therapy.

We currently have an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and are working to add additional programming resources to support our current medication management and IOP patients

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • Ohio licensure – LISW, LPCC (supervision designation preferred)
  • Must have experience in treating co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use disorders) with CBT and/or DBT interventions.
  • Preferred training in EMDR and experience working with individuals with eating disorders.
  • Ability to utilize appropriate technology for telehealth and documentation in electronic record
  • Must be independent, organized, flexible and work well with team members.

Responsibilities include:

  • Biopsychosocial Assessment
  • Development of treatment plans and updates
  • Safety Planning
  • Transition/Discharge Planning
  • Individual/Group therapy
  • Family programming and engagement
  • Collaboration with community providers and referral sources
  • Assist in program development
  • Facilitation of patient referral to appropriate community-based services

Compensation is commensurate with experience

Medical Assistant:

As a Medical Assistant here you will be responsible for front-desk operation, utilize an EHR system and coordinate operational flow. You will also work directly with our Clinical Providers and staff, to facilitate patient care. Day-to-day activities include checking patients in and out, triaging patient and pharmacy calls, injections, collecting payments, prior authorizations for medications and other tasks that are relevant for a clinical office practice environment.

Our ideal candidate is patient care focused, has proven organizational skills and the ability to assist in coordination of care between the Clinical Providers. Experience in an outpatient medical practice required; behavioral health experience is a plus. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients, clinicians and management and possess an ongoing desire to learn. At least 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a Medical Assistant role. Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations. Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task.

License/Certification:

  • Medical Assistant Certification (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
